Disproportionate: Leftists keep saying that the rich don’t pay enough in taxes. But the top 0.1% of income earners pay more than a third of their income in federal taxes, while the bottom 10% pay an average of … zero.

• “Those who think the wealthy don’t pay their fair share of taxes should also remember if you tax something, you get less of it,” writes EJ Antoni, research fellow with the Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget

Insanity: The Environmental Protection Agency’s new auto emissions rule will be disastrous for the  economy and will, if left in place, devastate the automobile industry.

• Diana Furchtgott-Roth, director of the Center for Energy, Climate, and the Environment, said the “rule will hurt working-class Americans, small businesses, and farmers by effectively banning the sale of gasoline-powered vehicles in America."
