Pushing the Biden Administration for Transparency

This week, I led the House Financial Services Committee in a hearing on the dangers of ceding authority over American financial regulation to opaque and unaccountable global governance bodies.

The Biden Administration’s banking regulators are ceding authority over U.S. policy to global governance groups so they can push progressive pet projects – such as climate disclosures – on the American financial system.

This behavior is endangering our economy and we will hold this administration accountable for their lack of transparency on their dealings with international bureaucrats.

I recently joined my North Carolina Republican colleagues in demanding answers from Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra on the Greensboro facility being utilized to house illegal immigrants. Taxpayers deserve transparency on this facility in their backyard.

I join community leaders in welcoming Bernie to Asbury Academy! Bernie, a service dog, joins the school to provide ongoing healing, comfort and support to students alongside human guidance counselors. Partners Health Management was able to provide Bernie to Asbury Academy using funding from the federal Child Mental Health Block Grant.
