John, we’re going to get a little wonky today.

Most of you probably haven’t heard of a Discharge Petition. In Congress, it’s a way to circumvent the leadership of the House and get legislation passed when it has bipartisan and widespread support.

Since Speaker Johnson has been dragging his feet for over six months on Ukraine, members of Congress who support their fight have begun moving a Discharge Petition to get that aid across the finish line.

We’re going to be working to target Republicans who might support that Discharge Petition over the next days and weeks, and convince them to come on side and get it done.

We’ll have more details on how we’re going to do it in a few days, but this is going to be a big push.

We’re going to need your help.

Please, if you have a few dollars to chip in today, it would go a long way towards our end-goal of getting aid for Ukraine across the finish line. Thank you in advance for chipping in.
