Hi John! March 24, 2024 Becoming the official nominee On March 5th, Josh was elected and officially became the Democratic nominee for Governor of North Carolina! Josh is ready to fight for a safer, stronger North Carolina for everyone.
Working families need more money in their pockets to pay their bills. That’s why Josh announced the Working Families’ Tax Cut to reinstate the state Earned Income Tax Credit for more than 2 million North Carolinians. It would mean up to nearly $1,500 for an eligible family with 3 kids and $500 on average. It would put more money in people’s pockets, lift children out of poverty, and stimulate local economies.
Josh continues to travel throughout North Carolina, hosting Real Time with Stein events in Buncombe County, Sampson County, and Fayetteville County. He also got to hear from students at UNC Wilmington about their priorities.
Josh launched Women for Stein in Greensboro alongside Anna, Leah, his mom, and his sister! At a time when extremists like Josh’s opponent Mark Robinson are threatening to enact a total ban on abortion, it's critical that we elect leadership that will protect and defend women's rights here in North Carolina.
