We have a real problem, friends, so I'll get straight to the point: Our most important FEC deadline of 2020 is just hours away, and our fundraising is still lagging behind our critical end-of-quarter goal.  

House Democrats have fought hard to pass lifesaving legislation – to provide access to health care, paid sick leave and needed aid to workers affected by the coronavirus pandemic – but the GOP is focused on bailing out Wall Street and putting corporate profits over the needs of working families. And President Trump is determined to win here in Florida to keep his corrupt agenda in power.

That's why I couldn't be more thrilled a fired-up group of Floridians who know the GOP's values don't represent our state agreed to match every dollar until the FEC deadline to ensure we have the resources we need to win the fights to come – but, right now, we're still falling $1,729 short of our match goal. (If you've been waiting for the right time to give – now is the best time to rush $5 and double your impact to win in Florida and keep the House blue in 2020.)

Friends, opportunities like this don't come around often – and this honestly couldn't have come at a better time. With Donald Trump focused on Florida – we just can't make sure Democrats hold the House majority after November if we miss opportunities like this.

Frankly, we're up for a tough fight – and nothing short of the future and conscience of our nation are at stake. The truth is, if we want to ensure affordable health care, protect workers and hold this corrupt president accountable, we can't afford to waste this chance to DOUBLE every dollar.
