Illegal Alien Apprehended at Border Claimed Links to Terror Organization, Intended to Target NYC

Earlier this month, a 22-year-old Lebanese illegal immigrant was caught in the El Paso sector of the border in Texas. He told authorities he was a member of Hezbollah  - a recognized terror organization backed by Iran. He stated that he intended to head to New York City, where he was going to plan an attack.

While claims are being investigated to determine their veracity, the vulnerability America faces at its borders could not be more apparent. Joe Biden's administration's reversal of the Trump Era border policies has led to historic crossings at both the northern and southern borders and is undoubtedly making America less safe.

Chairwoman Stefanik Releases Statement on Tish James' Attempt to Seize President Trump's Westchester Properties

On Thursday, Elise slammed Tish James’ latest attack on President Trump – filing to seize his properties in Westchester, NY. Read Elise’s full statement:

"The weaponization against Joe Biden’s political opponent, President Donald Trump, is an absolutely unprecedented form of election interference. It is fundamentally un-American that Tish James and Judge Engoron—without even a jury—imposed an unconstitutionally punitive nearly half billion judgment against Trump. And now they are punishing President Trump for exercising his right to appeal by attempting to seize his assets. The New York appellate courts must immediately stop this. Otherwise, key businesses—and crucial jobs—are going to continue to flee our state."

Chairwoman Stefanik Hosts Alison Esposito (NY-18) in Washington DC

On Wednesday, Chairwoman Stefanik hosted an event in support of her good friend Alison Esposito, the strongest candidate for NY-18, who has a record of putting the safety and security of New Yorkers first. She has what it takes to defeat failed Far Left Democrat Pat Ryan in November! The event was well attended with a strong showing of support from members of the NY GOP Congressional Delegation. Alison needs all the help she can get to defeat radical leftist Pat Ryan.

NYGOP GALA IN New York City

On April 4th, the New York State Republican Committee will be hosting its annual gala in NYC this week with Governor Abbott of Texas. House GOP Chairwoman Elise Stefanik is leading the fight to protect and expand our House GOP Majority in New York. Elise launched this Battleground Fund in order to fund critical field programs and get out to vote efforts so that Republicans can match the Democrats in New York to get voters out to the polls. Through the House Battleground Fund, we have a limited number of tickets left to this annual event in support of GOP efforts across the state.
