John,
my name is Riley Gaines, and I want to loop you into my mission to
SAVE women’s sports with the help of Senator Marsha
Blackburn.
I grew up swimming and was blessed
to receive a scholarship to the University of Kentucky. It was all a
dream come true… Until it wasn’t.
When a 6’4 male
walked into our locker room. Myself and other young women were
expected to carry on business as usual, but I didn’t stand for
it.
I immediately left the locker room and asked a pool
official how it was allowed to happen. I was told they “got around
that,” and it was okay. That’s where my outrage
began.
Any man, coach, or official could have full
access by making the locker rooms unisex. We weren’t warned. We were
subjected. And to rub salt into the wound, I was forced to share a
podium with Lia Thomas, a biological male, at the NCAA
championship.
I’ve experienced the fear. I’ve experienced the
sadness. I’ve experienced what Democrats think is “no big deal.” And
now, because I didn’t stand for it and spoke up for women and girls
everywhere, I have a target on my back.
Unfortunately for them,
it has only empowered me. My
mission to save women’s sports has become bigger than I ever imagined.
The American people are waking up and seeing that what’s happening in
women’s sports is only the beginning.
The
woke, transgender agenda won’t stop.
I refuse to let this
journey end. I refuse to bow down because they want me to.
I’m
asking you today to stand with me and Marsha Blackburn to SAVE women’s
sports.
Can I count on you?
Thank
you,
Riley |
