As a member of the House Republican Study Committee, my MAGA opponent, David Schweikert, just joined over 170 radical Republicans to support that party's budget for next year.  It includes:

1) Raising the age for Social Security — a proposal that would cut $1.4 trillion from the program and hurt lower- and middle-income individuals, who are less likely to be able to retire early

2) Attacking Medicare — a proposal to cut $500 billion over ten years, raising premiums and other costs to those who rely on this important program

3) Endorsing a nationwide abortion ban — and defining life as beginning at conception.  

So, what else is new?  The members of the extreme MAGA GOP continue to line their pockets with special-interest donations by going after hard-working Americans.

This radical budget also:

1) Raises prescription drug costs — the GOP budget would not allow Medicare to negotiate with drug companies and would repeal our hard-won $35 insulin costs

2) Cuts Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act and the Children's Health Insurance (CHIPs) programs — with cuts totaling $4.5 trillion over 10 years.

3) Passes $5 trillion in tax cuts to the wealthy — by permanently extending the Trump tax cuts and adding to our nation's deficit and debt.

We cannot allow the GOP to control the House any longer.  These policies are an existential threat to everyday Americans.  I'm humbly asking for your support so we can flip the House and bring responsible government back to Washington.
