Fighting Back Against Biden's War on American Energy

This week, the House passed multiple bills to promote American energy development, streamline and reform the federal permitting process, roll back federal regulations that stifle energy exploration and development, and lower energy costs for American families and small businesses. We are fighting back against Biden’s War on American Energy.

President Biden's war on fossil fuels doesn't cover all oil and gas. It only covers American oil and gas. And maybe that's the most perplexing part of his failed policies that angers people. 

President Biden is killing pipelines, killing leases on new production, killing the ability to get permits to go out and develop leases that you paid millions of dollars to the federal government for.

It emboldens Vladimir Putin. He is making billions of dollars selling his oil and natural gas to world markets because of what Joe Biden has done. Why would we want to embolden Vladimir Putin with our energy policies when we have enough energy in America to crush Putin, to crush Iran, to crush Venezuela?

Urging SBA to Approve Disaster Declaration Request for Crawfish

Last year’s drought and saltwater intrusion events wreaked havoc on Louisiana’s crawfish industry, resulting in a decimated stock and harmful impacts on small businesses. This week I joined my fellow Louisiana colleagues in supporting Governor Landry’s request for a statewide disaster declaration from the Small Business Administration. This would provide access to Economic Injury Disaster Loans for small businesses across the state that were impacted by last year’s drought. I am committed to ensuring that Louisiana’s crawfish industry - which is such a vital part of our economy and culture - can continue to thrive for years to come.
