Dear Friend,
Given the danger to democracy posed by Donald Trump, the Democrats must do much more than say "Be scared, be very very scared." Much better we should say, "Medicare for All, Tuition free college and tech school, Guaranteed living wage" and more. The way to win in 2024 is not by scaring or by scolding people. The way to win is by offering people genuine ways to fundamentally improve their lives.
The instruments of government should be used to serve the people, but today that is too little the case. Yes the Democrats do much better than the Republicans, but at this point that is too low a bar. Voters are waking up to the fact that in too many ways our government is neglecting them at a time of harsh economic struggle.
Nothing short of an economic u-turn and a repudiation of America’s corporate dominance of our society is going to be enough to make people show up to vote for us in 2024. That is why I stay in the race. It is why I am continuing to speak.

On a level that is bigger than the horse race, the message of our campaign represents the best available option for victory in 2024. Everywhere I go, people hear our message and agree with it. I continue to speak in order to increase the possibility that the President himself will hear.
It is not hyperbole to say that our democracy is at stake. Thank you for supporting me in using my voice.
