John – This week, we saw our border being overrun by illegal immigrants in an escalation of a crisis Joe Biden created. I also highlighted the threat from the Mexican drug cartels and continued to point the fault at the Biden Administration for the botched withdrawal in Afghanistan after key generals testified on Capitol Hill this week. Thank you for your continued support. My campaign could not succeed without donations from committed patriots like you from across the country. I will be doing everything I can to help hold the House majority and support conservatives across the country - and any donation you could provide would go a long way to help: SUPPORT MY 2024 RE-ELECTION CAMPAIGN Now, here’s your brief. THE FLOODGATES ARE OPEN CLICK HERE TO WATCH The floodgates are open at our southern border as we watch illegal immigrants overrun Texas National Guard soldiers and try to storm into our country. This crisis is reaching a tipping point, and Joe Biden continues to do everything he can to stop Governor Greg Abbott from implementing the most basic border security measures to stop this. It’s unacceptable. Biden needs to either get out of the way or help Governor Abbott do what the federal government should be doing - securing the border and stopping this crisis. WE CAN'T KEEP IGNORING THE CARTELS CLICK HERE TO WATCH I’ve said it repeatedly — the cartels are a major threat we can’t afford to keep ignoring. If you needed any more evidence of that, just watch this video. On top of trafficking deadly fentanyl into the U.S., the cartels are making billions off the largest human trafficking scheme in the Western Hemisphere. It’s time we work with the Mexican government to target them directly, and with force. As Chairman of the Cartel Task Force in Congress, I’m working to craft bipartisan solutions to neutralize the cartel threat, but we need Mexico to be a more reliable partner in this fight. BIDEN IS AT FAULT FOR THE AFGHANISTAN WITHDRAWAL READ MORE Top generals testified in front of Congress about the Biden Administration’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. We cannot forget one simple fact about this withdrawal: the death and misery resulting from our Afghanistan exit was 100% on Biden. The military told him to keep 2,500 troops there. They told him to evacuate Americans first. Biden didn’t listen. But we also cannot forget another simple fact many would like to ignore: those who claim we could have exited completely without this chaos are purposefully ignorant of the reality in Afghanistan. There was no way to get to zero troops without the tragic outcome that we saw. It is tactically impossible. That is why the military recommended keeping 2,500 troops in Bagram (not to mention it is a highly strategic location with an airbase in Central Asia.) Going to zero troops was never going to work, no matter how it was executed. That’s why Trump decided never to do it. Biden is 100% at fault.
