Folks, we'll say it until we're blue in the face: it's time to elect more Black women to the Senate.

But, don't just take it from us – Grammy-winner and activist, Common, spoke out on Twitter about it and even called on his fans to rally behind Lisa this November.

The reality is that if we let the MAGA GOP overtake Lisa in this race, the number of Black women in the Senate could go from one to ZERO. This would be a devastating blow to efforts to increase representation in our government.

Of the 2,003 Senators that have served in the Senate's 234-year history, only 60 have been women, and just three of them have been Black women. And right now, there are more men named "John" serving in the Senate than there have ever been Black women.

This November, we have the chance to elect Delaware's first woman and person of color to the Senate. But Donald Trump and his allies are ready to invest millions to flip The First State red and defeat Lisa.
