It’s been 14 years since President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act (ACA) into law. This landmark legislation has had a profound impact on the lives of millions of Americans, providing access to quality, affordable care for those who previously went without it, including working families, seniors, and people with pre-existing conditions.
Here in PA-08, the ACA also played a crucial role in ensuring financial stability for our rural hospitals. Now, more than 40 million Americans rely on the Affordable Care Act for their healthcare coverage.
But our work is far from over. Matt is fighting tirelessly in Congress to lower prescription drug costs, protect individuals with pre-existing conditions, and cap out-of-pocket medical expenses.
