You may have heard by now that today, March 31, is our campaign's final and most important deadline: the FEC end-of-quarter deadline.

But tomorrow, April 1, is also important: it's Jamaal's birthday. And John, I have it on good authority that all he wants for his birthday is for our campaign to finish out this quarter financially strong. Will you give Jamaal a great birthday gift by contributing to our campaign before midnight today?

Through his lived experiences, Jamaal knows first-hand how low-income families are being locked out of opportunity by a system that's rigged for the wealthy and privileged few.

Born and raised in New York City, Jamaal grew up in public housing and rent-controlled apartments with his mother. He's spent his adult life as an educator and advocate, fighting for working class families first as a teacher, and then as a middle school principal in the Bronx.

As a representative, Jamaal will continue his fight for the people and working-class families of NY-16 — not for corporate PACs, lobbyists, and Wall Street executives.

Tomorrow, we'll be celebrating Jamaal and all that he's accomplished throughout his life. And, with your help, we're hoping to celebrate a key accomplishment this time next year: Congressman.
