As the San Diego Padres gear up to take the field for the very first game of the season, we’ve been reminiscing about one of our favorite wish days from the past year: Eric’s wish to be a San Diego Padre for a day.


Eric’s wish started at the Padres' clubhouse, where he signed his one-day contract as an official player. Then came the big moment: He got to talk with the Padres players before joining them on the field for batting practice. To wrap up a beautiful day at Petco Park, Eric threw out the first pitch and watched the game from the owner’s box.
