14 years ago President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law.
Since then:
Tens of millions of Americans have been insured who otherwise wouldn’t receive coverage
0 women have had to paid more for healthcare premiums just for being a woman
0 Americans have been legally denied coverage because of a pre-existing condition
40 states have improved access to healthcare by expanding Medicaid
Millions of dollars have been invested to improve the health of mothers and children, tribal members, LGBTQ+ folks, and other vulnerable communities
But the Affordable Care Act is under attack. We can stop it:
Republicans have been calling for the repeal of the Affordable Care Act for years. They can only do it if they control Congress and the White House.
The thing is, they could do just that if they win Wisconsin this year.
Wisconsin is the ONLY state acting as a firewall between the Affordable Care Act and a health coverage nightmare for millions.
If we’re going to protect health care, we need to elect Democrats in Wisconsin, up and down the ballot, who will defend the ACA.
