Tucker Visits Fort Worth Tucker Carlson was in town on March 17th for what was the largest Tarrant County GOP event IN HISTORY! Attendees heard from County Judge Tim O'Hare, Sheriff Bill Waybourn, and Reps. Nate Schatzline and Tony Tinderholt. Tucker discussed the spiritual battle we face in November, how to bring people to our side, and what makes Texas different. At the end, our Chairman Bo French interviewed Tucker. You can a video of the event using the link below. For a detailed write-up of the Christian components of Tucker's speech, click the link here. Watch the Video Here TCGOP Fundraising Records! Since Chairman French became Party Chair, he has been working on what he has called a historic plan for victory in November. He has noted that a historic victory plan requires unprecedented fundraising, and got to work immediately. After Tucker Carlson's visit, it's clear that the Party is on track to break records this year! March 17th not only set attendance records, but fundraising records as well. With final numbers coming in, the event has brought the Party an astounding $250k! Our Chairman is just getting started. This November will be the best yet for Republicans in Tarrant County. You can read an article about our fundraising records below. Read the Article Here! Update from the Chairman At our last CEC meeting, many of you brought to my attention that a Democrat had run for and won a seat as precinct chair for precinct 4230. Recently, public records were provided to me showing that man, Chris Rector, is a member of the Democratic Party, ran for State Representative as a Democrat in 2022, ran for Congress as a Democrat during the 2024 election cycle, has confessed he was “pretending to be a Republican,” and that his goal as precinct chair was to dissolve the Tarrant County GOP and merge it with the Democratic Party. Upon learning this, I consulted with legal counsel and determined that based on state law, the party’s governing rules, and Roberts Rules of Order, Mr. Rector is not eligible to be a member of the Tarrant County GOP Executive Committee. Accordingly, I informed him last week that I, as the presiding officer of the final canvassing authority for the Tarrant County GOP was declaring him administratively ineligible, a decision permitted under Tex. Elec. Code § 145.003(d). Accordingly, Mr. Rector will not receive a certificate of election and is not entitled to assume the position of precinct chair for precinct 4230. It is possible that this issue may require further action by the County Executive Committee to ratify my decision regarding Rector’s ineligibility, and to take other actions to make clear that the Party is not obligated to associate with a Democrat who confesses to faking his way onto the Republican ballot and who has pledged his goal to destroy our party. If any further action is necesary, I hope you will all take the matter seriously. Trump's Property Seized Recently radical leftist New York Judge Arthur Engoron ordered President Trump to pay $464 million as part of the Democrats' lawfare against him. To appeal the case, Trump must post a nearly $500 million bond, which is practically impossible. As punishment, New York Attorney General Letitia James is looking to confiscate Trump's New York business and properties. In perfect timing, Trump Media & Technology Group is going public soon, which could bring President Trump several billion dollars. Ted Cruz Campaign The Ted Cruz for Senate campaign is looking for volunteers throughout the Lone Star State that are ready to fight to keep Texas red! Now that the Democratic Primary is over, the Democrats have selected a far-left extreme candidate for the U.S. Senate in Colin Allred. The Allred campaign has amounted a war chest bigger than Beto O'Rourke at this point in 2018 and recent polling has shown this race statistically tied. We can't be complacent! If we lose the Senate and lose Texas, our country will be gone! Sign up with the link below! Join the Campaign Here! New Speaker of the House Candidate This week, a representative from the Houston area announced his candidacy for Speaker of the Texas House. Tom Oliverson, who passed SB 14 last session protecting children from gender transition surgery, is the first candidate to announce his candidacy for the position. He pledged to end Democrat Chairs, put members to work within the first 60 days - which hasn't happened recently - and require the Speaker to be supported by the Republican Caucus. This is a notable departure from Dade Phelan's plan of rewarding Democrats with legislative victories in exchange for their support. The Speaker will be selected when the Legislature convenes in January of 2025. Read the Article Here! Share The Roundup with Friends!
