Dear John,
I’m writing to you just outside the main ballroom at the Real InterContinental hotel in San José, Costa Rica, where Atlas Network just announced Asociación Argentina de Contribuyentes (AAC) as the 2024 winner of the Latin America Liberty Award!
AAC won the award for their work in recent years on tax reform and successfully returning more money to the taxpayers of Argentina.
One of their key victories was leading the legislative repeal of a credit card statement tax, saving Buenos Aires taxpayers over $300 million.
In total, AAC has saved Argentine taxpayers over $4.5 billion annually over the past three years.
The Argentine Congress is considering naming AAC a Center of Excellence in the creation of public policies, and AAC’s work will only persist as President Javier Milei continues his quest to shrink the size of the federal government and revitalize the Argentinian economy.
Atlas Network is proud to have supported AAC with grants and skills-based training opportunities, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible generosity of our donors.
The annual Latin America Liberty Forum is where our partner organizations from all across the region come to share ideas, learn, and compete for our grants.
Each year, we have the chance of supporting organizations that might become the next AAC – the next partner to transform their country in the direction of free enterprise – but we can only do it if we reach our fundraising goals.
Coinciding with this year’s Latin America Liberty Forum, we launched a very important end-of-quarter fundraising drive because we have a very specific goal we must reach by March 31 if we want to continue supporting our Latin American partners.
We’re aiming to raise $20,000 by March 31, and as of today, I’m excited to share the update that we have now surpassed $6,500. We are now 34% toward our goal!
John, we’re counting on your help to continue supporting the work of our Latin American partners like Asociación Argentina de Contribuyentes.
Please join fellow fans of tax cuts and limited government by sending your first gift to Atlas Network in support of our end-of-quarter fundraising drive. >>
