This week was great. Coming out of the March Primary, momentum is building nationwide for Republicans. People are starting to see the real opportunity to flip this seat from Blue to Red.

Assemblyman Fong joined a notable list of Central Valley leaders endorsing my campaign for Congress, including Congressman Tom McClintock, former Congresswoman Connie Conway, State Senator Shannon Grove, and Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux.

About: Michael Maher grew up in Tulare County where he owns and operates a Central Valley based aviation business. Maher’s parents settled in Visalia, where his father still serves as a local pastor. His wife Anne comes from a local multigenerational farming family and they have two children.

Maher is a United States Navy veteran, and served abroad the USS Salt Lake City, a Los Angeles Class Fast Attack Submarine. Following the Navy, Michael graduated from Fresno Pacific University and then was accepted and graduated from FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Michael served as a Special Agent for the Bureau working in the National Security Division. Additionally with the FBI, Maher was the Counterproliferation Coordinator for the Los Angeles Field Office which included responsibility in supervision of Chemical Weapons Inspections.
