First, some good news:

Several health insurance companies have waived co-payments and deductibles for at least some coronavirus-related treatments their customers may need.

But:

These waivers may not cover all patients or treatments, and some are set to expire at the end of May.

Meanwhile:

Many major insurers have not yet waived fees — even as the pandemic worsens.

With billions in profits, health insurance companies can certainly afford to do the right thing for their customers and for public health.

Public Citizen is urging ALL major health insurance companies to immediately and permanently waive ALL out-of-pocket costs for any coronavirus-related treatments their customers may need.

Are you with us?

Just click — there’s no separate petition to sign — if you agree that major insurance companies should waive fees for any coronavirus treatments their customers may need.

Thanks for taking action.

Stay safe.
