Take a moment, share your thoughts with us about the COVID-19 pandemic.

John,

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a dramatic impact on the lives of millions of people across the U.S.―low- and middle-income people alike. Whether it’s affecting our health, our jobs and our ability to support ourselves and our family, or it’s the overloading of our healthcare system, the situation we find ourselves in today underscores the need to invest in critical protections for people and families.

In order to ensure essential aid is directed to those who need it most, we need to tell policy makers exactly how this pandemic is adversely affecting you and your family.

Have you been furloughed or lost your job? Are your kids home from school for the next month or more? Are you or a loved one sick and unable to receive the testing or treatment that you need?

Share your story today. Tell us how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting you and/or your family.

In recent weeks, the number of jobless claims in the United States has spiked. Our healthcare system is at a breaking point in hard-hit portions of the country. Nearly 2,900 Americans have already died from COVID-19, and more than 156,000 people in our country tested positive as of Monday evening. With huge portions of society closed, schools shuttered, and orders to shelter in place in effect in many states and communities, life as we know it has changed dramatically.

Hearing directly from people like you is an essential way to communicate the urgent need to lawmakers.

Tell us how the pandemic is impacting you and/or your family and what you need right now to keep you and your family safe and healthy. Click here to share how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting you.

Congress has already passed three rounds of legislation to help bail out our economy and ensure working families are not bankrupted during the pandemic. But with hundreds of billions of those dollars going toward bailing out corporations, not individuals, we have more work to do to demand protections for those who need it most.

Together, let’s let the power of our personal stories fight for effective policies.

Together, we will get through this very challenging time.

Thank you for your support,
