Dear A.,

This morning, the House passed its government spending package with nearly $4 billion in security funding for Israel and programs to strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship.

It includes $3.3 billion in vital security assistance for our ally, without added political conditions, along with $500 million for lifesaving missile defense programs, and $87 million for technologies to counter drone and tunnel warfare.

For the first time, the bill also prohibits funding from going to UNRWA and the U.N.’s anti-Israel Commission of Inquiry.

We expect the Senate to vote on its version of the bill as soon as this evening, and send it to the President’s desk to be signed into law.

This is a major achievement for the pro-Israel community, and you helped make it happen through your support of AIPAC.

Watch and share the video below to learn more about what’s in the bill and to encourage others to join you in urging Congress to pass the $14.3 billion emergency funding package for Israel.

Blinken meets with PM Netanyahu, Benny Gantz in Tel Aviv

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Israeli leaders today during his sixth visit to Israel since October 7. Blinken met with Prime Minister Netanyahu and war cabinet minister Benny Gantz, along with the broader war cabinet.

The discussions included ongoing negotiations on a potential hostage deal, which Secretary Blinken said earlier this week were once again stifled by Hamas. "We worked very hard with Qatar, with Egypt, and with Israel to put a strong proposal on the table. We did that; Hamas wouldn’t accept it," he

Prime Minister Netanyahu released a statement after meeting with Blinken underscoring his appreciation for America’s support, and regarding an operation to root out Hamas in Rafah.

"I deeply appreciate the fact that for more than five months, we have stood together in the war against Hamas," he said. "I told him that we recognize the need to evacuate the civilian population for the war zone and of course to take care of humanitarian needs, and we are working on that. But I also told him that we don’t have a way to defeat Hamas without going into Rafah, and eliminating the remaining battalions there."

Must-Watch: Douglas Murray rebukes libelous claims about Israel

In an interview with South African anchor Jane Dutton, author and journalist Douglas Murray responds to lies and misinformation about Israel and the war with Hamas. Many of the arguments he refutes in this interview are the same libelous accusations peddled by anti-Israel activists and the Squad – including that Israel is committing genocide.

120,000 Muslims worship peacefully in Jerusalem

Some 120,000 people attended the second Friday prayers of Ramadan at the Al-Aqsa Mosque today, which ended peacefully despite calls by Hamas to ignite violence during the holiday.

In a statement last week, Hamas urged its followers to “participate urgently in defending Al-Aqsa Mosque against the aggression that lurks in these critical times.”
