Neighbors,
It seems our seasons are reversed. Seventy degrees in winter, cold and snow forecast in spring. Enjoy our changing weather and stay safe!
Committee Action
Today in the Judiciary Finance & Civil Law Committee [ [link removed] ], my Safe at Home [ [link removed] ] legislation was heard. Safe at Home is a program administered by the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State [ [link removed] ] to help people fearing for their safety maintain a confidential address. Many of those who participate in the program are survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking. My update to the program allows someone moving to Minnesota to apply 60 days in advance of their move, so by the time they arrive, their address is confidential. This closes an opening that might have left them vulnerable.
