MTG is threatening to vacate the Speaker AGAIN.

Hey John,

In case you haven’t been glued to the news for the last few hours, there’s a LOT happening in the House right now.

First up, today is the final deadline to pass a spending bill and stop a government shutdown. The House just passed the bill a short while ago by the skin of their teeth – now it’s headed to the Senate.

But Johnson didn’t have the votes he needed from his own caucus. Boebert and all her cronies voted no. So Johnson had to rely on Democrats to get the damn thing done. AS USUAL, the Democrats came together for the good of the country to keep our government working.

But now the MAGA caucus is furious and they are once again threatening to vacate the Speaker of the House.

I’ve seen this movie before. This is the same scenario that played out last September when Kevin McCarthy was bailed out by my fellow Democrats to keep the government open and functioning.

Republicans keep showing us why they can’t be trusted with power. I’m running to flip CO-04 and help take back the House majority so the grown-ups can get Congress working again.

And as an added bonus, flipping this seat also means booting Lauren Boebert out of Congress!

This Republican majority is a clown show, but I’m not laughing. I take my service seriously, and our country needs leaders we can respect and count on to get the job done.

Republicans kicking the can down the road these last nine months left us vulnerable, abandoned our allies overseas, and made it impossible for civil servants to do their jobs.

It’s time to end this disgrace. Let’s flip this seat, flip the House, and get Congress back to work.
