Listen, friend:
Just imagine how much you could do if $64 million appeared in your bank account right now.
It's enough to comfortably retire — 50 times over.
It's enough to send a whole classroom of kids to any college of their choosing.
It's enough to ensure your family's financial security for generations, long after you're gone.
For my opponent, Sen. Rick Scott, $64 million is next to nothing.
That's how much of his own fortune he spent to bankroll his last campaign,
just to win by 0.12% of the nearly 8.2 million votes cast. That's $6,379 for each one.
(Perhaps it's no wonder he didn't anticipate the nationwide, bipartisan backlash over his proposal to end Social Security and Medicare.)
So if $64 million was only enough to secure *that thin* of a margin of victory back in 2018, then believe me:
He will shell out as much — if not more — to defeat me this fall.
Unlike my opponent, I'm proud to be running a truly grassroots movement to flip Florida and defend our Senate majority.
That also means I don't have a nearly quarter-billion dollar fortune to my name.
So in order to defeat my out-of-touch opponent and his self-funded war chest this year, I'm going to need your help: Friend — if you're ready to join this people-powered movement in the fight to flip Florida blue, will you chip in $5 (or whatever you can spare) before midnight?
