Rebecca Delahunt Gives Powerful Testimony Against Commercial Surrogacy |
This week, Minnesota Family Council's Director of Public Policy, Rebecca Delahunt, gave a powerful testimony against commercial surrogacy in the Minnesota House Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee. Rebecca stated:
"How is the renting of wombs ethical or the trading of children any different than human trafficking? It's not, and it's why I'm asking you to vote no." |

Renee Carlson Provides Testimony on Abortion Mandates |
This week, Renee Carlson, General Counsel of True North Legal testified on abortion insurance mandates in the Minnesota Senate.
After Renee’s testimony, Senator Alice Mann (DFL) spoke about the purpose of the bill. She stated that not mandating abortion coverage in private health insurance plans would lead to “death” for pregnant women, since “women would be forced to carry a pregnancy to term--FORCED to carry a pregnancy. We don’t have to do that anymore.” Senator Mann also insisted that her bill addressed a “healthcare issue,” not a political one. But contrary to Senator Mann, abortion is not healthcare - it is the intentional taking of a human life.”

Tell Legislators to Vote NO on ERA

As the 2024 Legislative Session approaches, progressives have been open about their plans to try and advance the so-called Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) as soon as November 2024.
This bill has already passed the Minnesota Senate and will be considered by the Minnesota House.
Now is the time to send a message to your legislators telling them to oppose the ERA. The alert below will help you send a message to your Minnesota House member respectfully sharing your concerns.
By banning "discrimination" on the basis of "sexual orientation, gender identity or expression," the ERA would allow males to enter female-only accommodations such as sports teams and changing facilities.
