Happy Friday, it has been A WEEK! Nandini traveled to Vienna as a keynote speaker for the JETZT SUMMIT on Digital Marketing 2024, which had the delightful motto of “We are all more confused, but on a higher level.”

We’ve also signed an open letter telling Meta to keep funding CrowdTangle. It’s an incredible tool that lets journalists, researchers, and others scour Facebook and Instagram to see what’s zooming across the platform in real time — and Meta is killing it ahead of one of the most consequential elections of our lives.
Meta says a different tool, the Content Library, will become available more widely to people doing the important work of research and safeguarding elections. But access is very limited and it’s missing functionality that CrowdTangle has.
Democracy is on the ballot in elections around the world. This is no time to kill off research tools that bring transparency.

Happy Friday, it has been A WEEK! Nandini traveled to Vienna as a keynote speaker for the JETZT SUMMIT on Digital Marketing 2024, which had the delightful motto of “We are all more confused, but on a higher level.”

We’ve also signed an open letter telling Meta to keep funding CrowdTangle. It’s an incredible tool that lets journalists, researchers, and others scour Facebook and Instagram to see what’s zooming across the platform in real time — and Meta is killing it ahead of one of the most consequential elections of our lives.
Meta says a different tool, the Content Library, will become available more widely to people doing the important work of research and safeguarding elections. But access is very limited and it’s missing functionality that CrowdTangle has.
Democracy is on the ballot in elections around the world. This is no time to kill off research tools that bring transparency.
