Subject: Fighting radical Republicans’ attacks on reproductive rights
Team — The right wing’s assault on our reproductive freedoms is abhorrent.
Recently, a court in Alabama ruled that embryos are considered people, which led to several fertility clinics in the state to pause in vitro fertilization treatment.
This ruling is a direct result of Donald Trump and the far-rights’ efforts to stack courts with anti-abortion judges who believe they have the right to make decisions on behalf of women and their families. It’s a disgrace.
While the GOP tries to outrun this unpopular, dangerous stance, I’m making sure voters know that Donald Trump and the Republican Party are responsible for this ruling — and that our rights are safe here in New York.
Please, add your name to support my efforts to protect reproductive rights in New York.
I am making sure a ruling like this can never happen in New York.
Our state will always be a safe place for women to make personal, private healthcare decisions — without interference from politicians or judges.
As right-wing elected leaders continue to come after abortion access, IVF, and other important rights for women and their families, I am boldly standing up for these rights and fighting to protect them, no matter what it takes.
If you support our efforts to protect abortion access and fertility treatment here in New York, please add your name alongside mine today in our pledge to safeguard these rights from far-right attacks.
Thank you,
Governor Kathy Hochul
