Our community care initiative has been able to reach 50 families over the past three days. Times have been extremely difficult in our district, with the Covid-19 virus causing so much instability in our communities.

It is extremely important to us, that with so much uncertainty as how to properly handle the virus, that our community members who are left most vulnerable, are not forgotten. We must take care of eachother.

As we have said before, South East Queens which is the

majority of New York’s 5^th

Congressional district, is the hardest hit area in NYC. This means in a community where so many are already struggling, times are only getting harder.

Your donations and support, whether it supplies or campaign contributions, has been the reason we have been able to help so many families get the supplies they need to survive this crisis.

Our Community Care Outreach program has been thriving the past week, with surges of donations coming in to get supplies and necessities for those in need, but we still need to collect more to ensure that our community is properly taken care of.

All of your contributions for the month of March are

going towards supplies for struggling folks in my community. Can you chip in to help the people of NY-5?

We are looking for community members willing to Drop off or Ship supplies to any of the drop locations or make calls/texts to community members in need of support.

Right now, our community needs leaders to step up, not just people looking for a seat in office. That is why 100% of our efforts and funds this month have been going towards making sure we get supplies into the hands of the people who need them the most.
