Parks and Recreation Year in Review
As stewards of the City's parks and amenities, ambassadors of community wellness, and advocates for environmental sustainability, the City's Parks and Recreation Department plays a pivotal role in maintaining the exceptional quality of life experienced in Mendota Heights.
Let's take a look back at some highlights from 2023!

Winter Weather Reminders
With snow and wintery weather in the forecast for the weekend, please remember:
- Roads could be slippery, please allow for extra time and pack your patience, travel at or below the posted speed limit and leave extra space for pedestrians, snow plows and other drivers.
- When the snowfall reaches a depth of 2" or more, a snow emergency is in effect and no parking is allowed on City streets until they've been plowed curb to curb.
- You can help snow plow drivers do a safe and effective job by placing trash and recycling cans behind the curb line, and reminding children to stay clear when there's a snow plow nearby.
- You can be a good neighbor by shoveling around fire hydrants and mailboxes, to allow for easy access if needed.
