Happy Women's History Month!

My name is Katherine Clark, and I proudly serve Massachusetts’ 5th district in Congress. I am also in House leadership serving as the Democratic Whip.

When I first came to Congress in 2013, there weren’t many women serving alongside me. Multiple times, I was stopped and mistaken for someone’s spouse, and I had a hard time even getting into the Chamber.

Thankfully, walking through the halls of Congress in 2024 is much different. There are more women serving in Congress than ever before — 94 women in the House Democratic Caucus alone!

I’ve been adamant about helping elect more women to Congress, because the truth is that for generations, we’ve failed to address the persistent challenges faced by women, especially by women of color.

And with MAGA extremists in the House majority threatening to take us back even further, the stakes of our work couldn’t be higher.

That's why I'm writing to you today. We need strong women in Congress, and I’m asking you to support that effort by splitting a contribution between my campaign and Mikie to elect more women into office.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Effective leadership isn’t about individual ambition. It’s about our collective good.

Lifting up others is a core value of mine — I strongly believe that when we elect more women to positions of power, we all do better.

Together, Mikie and I will continue the fight for gender equity and women’s rights, and with your support, elect even more candidates who are committed to building the kind of country and future that our daughters deserve.

So please, if you can afford to, split a contribution today between my campaign and Mikie Sherrill and help us fulfill the country’s promise of equality and opportunity for all.

Thanks for your support! I hope you take some time this month to reflect on our achievements, celebrate the women in your life, and recommit to building a stronger, more inclusive America.

All my best,

— Katherine
