Millions of people have used mifepristone, one of two medicines most commonly used for medication abortion, for decades. But activists opposed to abortion are using the lower courts to interfere with the FDA’s authority and scientific research. They want to turn back the clock on reproductive rights, wreak havoc in health care delivery, and deny patients access to safe and effective medication.
