Hi,
Sorry for the late email. I’ve been on the road for much of the week during my August in-district work period, and we’ve been accomplishing so much.
But now that I have a moment to reach out, I need to ask for your help: Friends, can you chip in just $3 or more to my campaign’s $3,000 weekly goal before midnight? >>
You might be able to tell that fundraising isn’t my favorite campaign activity.
More than anything, I value the time I have on the ground in our community where I get to talk to constituents about the challenges they’re facing and what they’d like to see Washington do about those issues.
In just the past few days, I held a rural broadband town hall, visited small businesses as part of my #BrindisiAtYourBusiness campaign, and spoke with folks representing our district’s 50,000 veterans to commemorate National Purple Heart Day.
But here’s why I need to ask you to donate right now: We’re running a grassroots campaign in one of the nation’s few true toss-up districts.
I have a strong record of working for the people -- but that makes our campaign a target for wealthy special interests.
If we’re going to continue the work we’ve started to improve NY-22, it’s critical we hit each and every one of our goals -- including this week’s.
I’m not accepting one cent of corporate PAC money, so, I’m sure you can understand why I need you to step up with a donation of any size. We won’t be able to reach $3,000 before midnight without your support. >>
Thank you so much for your generosity.
Anthony
