Dear Friends,

This week's omnibus spending bill, amounting to nearly $1.2 trillion, not only continues our nation's descent into fiscal ruin but fails to address the critical issue of border security, and I could not support it.

With our national debt surpassing $34 trillion and the annual deficit reaching a staggering $1.7 trillion, it is clear we cannot afford to continue down this path of unchecked spending and government expansion.

Accepting this deal without the inclusion of comprehensive border security measures effectively surrenders our sovereignty and compromises the safety of every American. It's an invasiveness of inaction that we cannot afford, allowing unchecked entry into our nation and exacerbating the ongoing security, economic, and humanitarian crisis at our southern border.

This bill alarmingly includes provisions that further the administration's pro-abortion agenda, allocate millions for LGBTQ programs and so-called "gender transition" assistance to minors, and funnel taxpayer dollars into sanctuary cities and NGOs that fuel the crisis at our southern border.

I stand firmly against this omnibus bill and will continue fighting for concrete action to secure our border and safeguard our nation.
