Lawmakers push changes to CBO scoring for preventive health

Earlier this week, Diana successfully passed the Dr. Michael C. Burgess Preventive Health Savings Act, creating a framework that would shift the way we look at health care policy for the better.

Speaking of the bill, Diana said, “This bill will dramatically improve how Congress considers preventive health policy, while at the same time, saving money”

Here are the Colorado projects the House just approved as part of a package to avoid a partial government shutdown

In a time of divided government, Diana is working towards a solution both sides can live with.

Diana told CPR News. “we were able to keep virtually all of the poison amendments out — the restrictions on abortion (and) LGBTQ rights, they’re gone from the bill. I think it’s a compromise.”
