According to wasteful capitalist logic, damaged books are unsellable. They belong in a landfill.
Millions of books are pulped and discarded every year after they're returned by major retailers - mainly Amazon.
In 2023 alone, Amazon returned 10.5k PM Press titles.
Nearly all of these books were damaged on their journey back to our distributor.
At PM, we buy back our "damaged" books before they are thrown in the landfill.
