Friend, this is a different kind of email than most you’ll get from any campaign or elected official today.
I want my top supporters to know what I’m working on and why. I think it’s far more compelling than phony “end of month” deadlines and “matched donation” gimmicks.
This week, I took a quick trip to El Savador. Why? To tour their terrorist confinement center, which was built in 2022 to crack down on violent crime and gangs, like MS-13.
El Savador was one of the most dangerous places in the world — on par with countries at war.
A state of emergency was declared. Police cracked down. There were large scale round ups of MS-13 and other gangs, and those violent criminals were locked up in the confinement center.
Today, homicides in El Salvador are down nearly 70%.
I became the first senator to tour their confinement center because I wanted to learn more, and the best way to do so firsthand.
This is a lesson about what happens when you take crime seriously and restore public order and the rule of law.
And it’s a lesson cities and liberals here in America need to learn.
I joined Fox & Friends to share more — and to talk about why we must never let our guard down when it comes to crime.

Meet Tom Cotton
Tom Cotton was born and raised on his family’s cattle farm in Arkansas, served as an Army infantry officer in Iraq and Afghanistan, and is fighting for working Americans in the U.S. Senate.
The tragic attacks of September 11, 2001 occurred during Tom’s final year of law school and changed his life’s trajectory.
