I'm running against a Blue Dog Democrat who has put corporate interests over people’s interests time and time again. He’s also an ineffective and tepid “leader” who either sides with this dangerous, reckless administration or lacks the spine to stand up to it and fails to address deep structural problems in the district and nationwide.

That is not the kind of representative our district needs. We deserve a fierce advocate who’s not afraid to be the voice of the people. We need someone who knows exactly what she believes in and will stand by those beliefs.

Those needs have never been more apparent now that we’re in the grip of an unprecedented pandemic that our government is way behind in addressing. It’s time to invest in those of us who will be proactive representatives who put people first.
