Submit your intentions Feast Day Holy Mass, 7 Sorrows of the BVM,
March 22
Dear Friend,
On Day Three, our meditation and
prayers on the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary, are: (1) Mary
Receives the Dead Body of Jesus in Her
Arms (2) Mary
Accompanies the Body of Jesus to the Tomb. These two meditations
focus on Mary’s sorrow after the death of her Son and the
burial.
Here are the Day
Three prayers. If you haven’t had a chance to submit
your intentions or would like to update them, for the Holy Mass on the Traditional Feast
of the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary, please do so
now.
Here are the final two promises Our
Lady gave to St. Bridget of Sweden to those who meditate and pray on
the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary:
“I will visibly help them at the
moment of their death-- they will see the face of their
mother."
“I have obtained this grace from my
divine Son, that those who propagate this devotion to my tears and
dolors will be taken directly from this earthly life to eternal
happiness, since all their sins will be forgiven and my Son will be
their eternal consolation and joy.”
Together, let us storm heaven to
ask Our Sorrowful Mother, who is called “hope for the troubled” to
intercede for all our needs, our suffering brothers and sisters around
the world and most especially that Cardinal Burke will receive an
abundance of grace.
Yours in the Sorrowful and
Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Thomas McKenna
