Video Shows Migrants Break Through El Paso Border
Breitbart: A video posted on X shows a large group of migrants shoving and assaulting members of the Texas National Guard who are defending the border under Governor Greg Abbott’s Operation Lone Star border security mission. The migrant group eventually broke through the border wire and rushed a permanent border barrier, also manned by guardsmen ( Breitbart). Spencer Brown: In a scene that looks more like the border of some war-torn third-world country, and after multiple months of record-setting illegal alien crossings on Biden’s watch, a horde of illegal aliens have now stormed Texas authorities in an attempt to forcibly and unlawfully enter the U.S. To call it an “invasion” is anything but hyperbole ( Townhall). Reporter Jennie Taer: This is the moment when TX National Guard became overrun by migrants rioting to get across the border here in El Paso today. We were there and saw it all happen. Absolute chaos here ( X).

Laken Riley's Father Urges Georgia Senate to Pass Bill Allowing Law Enforcement to Detain, Deport Illegals
National Review: The father of Laken Riley, the 22-year-old nursing student allegedly killed by an illegal immigrant from Venezuela last month, urged Georgia governor Brian Kemp to declare a state of invasion “to detain and deport criminal illegals” during an address to the state senate on Wednesday. In response to the murder of Riley’s daughter, the Georgia house passed a bill last month that would withhold funding from localities that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration authorities on the detention, removal, and investigation of illegal aliens in the state. The bill is currently before the senate ( National Review). Townhall: Laken Riley’s father speaks before the Georgia State Senate: “I stand before you a heartbroken man…Governor Kemp, please declare an invasion to detain and deport criminal illegals” ( X).

Biden Forgives $5.8 Billion in Student Loan Debt for 78,000 Borrowers
ABC: President Joe Biden announced on Thursday that about 78,000 public service workers will have $5.8 billion in federal student loan debt forgiven by his administration. The borrowers, which include teachers, nurses, firefighters and others enrolled in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program, have “dedicated their careers to serving their communities,” Biden said in a statement. The debt cancellations will bring his administration’s total forgiveness to about $144 billion for nearly 4 million Americans ( ABC). BBC: Around 43 million people in the US have student loan debt, with federal loans making up the vast majority. Since the Biden administration’s wider plan for student debt relief was struck down by the Supreme Court last year, the president has been trying to use old and new loan repayment plans to help relieve debt ( BBC).

Israeli PM Netanyahu Invited to Address Congress by Speaker Mike Johnson
Katie Pavlich: Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer continues to face backlash over his declaration from the Senate floor last week that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was democratically elected by Israeli citizens, should be ousted. Now, House Speaker Mike Johnson has invited Netanyahu to address Congress ( Townhall). Speaker Mike Johnson: Senator Chuck Schumer calling for new elections in Israel was outrageous and unbelievable. To suggest to our strongest ally in the Middle East that he knows better when it comes to running their democracy is just patently absurd. Republicans will always stand with Israel ( X). ABC: For a joint session of Congress to occur, Schumer would need to sign off on Johnson’s invitation. Schumer said in a statement Thursday that he would not oppose Netanyahu coming to speak to lawmakers “in a bipartisan way” ( ABC).

Manhattan School Board Authorizes Public Review of Plan Permitting Biological Males to Compete in Female Athletics
Daily Wire: Manhattan’s largest neighborhood school board district approved a resolution Wednesday night demanding an examination of the current policy allowing trans-identifying males to compete in girls’ sports. Community Education Council District 2, which encompasses Manhattan schools from the Lower East Side to the Upper East Side, voted 8-3 to request the New York City Department of Education allow a public review of the policy. It is one of six districts serving Manhattan. The resolution is largely symbolic, but its goal is to promote parental involvement and transparency around the policy allowing trans-identifying males to play on girls’ teams. The resolution also calls for more input from athletes, parents, coaches, medical professionals, and evolutional biology experts ( Daily Wire). National Review: In 2019, the NYC DOE released the guidance, replacing the category of biological sex with gender identity in Public School Athletic League (PSAL) sports teams and participation. The policy stipulated that, “Generally, a student must be permitted to participate in physical education, intramural sports, and competitive athletic activities and contact sports in accordance with the student’s gender identity asserted at school” ( National Review).

Joe Biden’s DOJ Sues Apple for Monopoly
CNBC: The Department of Justice sued Apple on Thursday, saying its iPhone ecosystem is a monopoly that drove its “astronomical valuation” at the expense of consumers, developers and rival phone makers. The government has not ruled out breaking up one of the largest companies in the world, with a Justice Department official saying on a briefing call that structural relief was on the table if the U.S. were to win. The lawsuit claims Apple’s anti-competitive practices extend beyond the iPhone and Apple Watch businesses, citing Apple’s advertising, browser, FaceTime and news offerings. Apple shares fell more than 4% during trading Thursday. A breakup of Apple if successful would be one of only a handful of breakups under the Sherman Act. The DOJ has considered using it in other antitrust cases, but has not done so since the breakup of the Bell System in 1982 ( CNBC). HotAir: If you’re wondering where all of this is coming from, back in 2020 when Democrats still held the House of Representatives, the House Judiciary Committee issued a report which accused Amazon, Apple, Google and Facebook of having “monopoly power.” That report was issued in October 2020. Since then, the Biden DOJ has brought anti-trust lawsuits against all four of the companies ( HotAir).

Libs of TikTok: I just received this image from Planet Fitness in Alaska. The man who was caught shaving in the womens’ bathroom is still entering womens’ private spaces. Planet Fitness stood by him. Their policies allow men to use womens’ locker rooms and if you complain you might have your membership revoked. Planet Fitness is not safe for women ( X). Seattle Hosts Weeklong Drag Camp for Children
HotAir: Is there some reason, aside from sexual perversion, that everybody on the Left wants to have kids watch and participate in drag shows? The obsession with mixing kids and drag has gone to an extreme, and the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle appears to be playing with fire by putting on a week-long “Drag Camp” that will mix explicitly sexualized performances and “education” with children as young as 12. If something goes wrong here, the fault will ultimately lay with the parents who subjected their children to this perverted propaganda ( HotAir). Libs of TikTok: Seattle Museum is hosting a “Drag Camp” for kids as young as 12. The camp will teach kids how to be Drag Queen performers. It’s being taught by the Drag Queens pictured below. The museum receives Government funding. Why are our tax dollars funding the grooming of children ( X)?
