It’s interesting, and maybe even a bit poetic, that we’re in an overflow room.
I’d love for Democratic support in Texas to be overflowing. But it isn’t.
And I don't think it's too much of an exaggeration to say that our movement has done more than anyone else in Texas to try and change that. We have been working every day to get mothers, and others like us, motivated, involved, and to the voting stations on Election Day.
We don’t just want a handful of Democrats to go vote; we want an overflow of them. So actually, this room is a perfect symbol for what we want to achieve.
If you agree that mothers, and others like us, have a huge role to play this election, can you chip in now?

I want to be honest with you: Mothers Against Greg Abbott has never been more committed to doing the work needed to protect our families — and the country — from extremist Republicans.
But educating and registering voters and getting out the vote, especially in a state as large as Texas, is incredibly expensive.
We need to raise an additional $50,000 this month or we'll have to cut some of our programs, and that's not a good start to the election cycle.
$50,000 is a lot... But if everyone reading this donated just $1 now, we'd meet our goal by the end of the day.
Our movement has grown by leaps and bounds — there are hundreds of thousands of folks reading this email, literally right now. So if we take this one goal at a time, dollar by dollar, we're capable of making a giant impact this cycle.

And when they assign rooms next year, I’ll ask for the same thing again: an overflow room. Because overflow is what we do.
