Right now, we're all hunkered down, alternately watching the news and avoiding the news. Personally, when I'm not working, I'm trying out new bread recipes, pulling weeds, and binge watching tv shows.

Like you, I'm also thinking about the future. A lot.

I've made tentative travel plans to go fishing and I'm hoping to go camping with my friends this summer. I can't wait for this all to be over.

But you know what? My vision of the future also includes a world where competent leaders are working together to craft a safe, healthy, progressive future for all of us.

That means electing a new president and a new U.S. Senate. And it means defending progressive champions like Jeff Merkley.
