Stephanie Hightower, Former President of USA Track and Field Carla Morrow, Associate Head Coach of the OSU Women's Basketball Team Audrey Flaugh, Community Ambassador for the Columbus Fury What Come network, hear from speakers, enjoy light refreshments, and engage in conversations about the state of women's sports in our city. Where North Bank Park Pavilion, 311 W Long St., Columbus, OH 43215 Street parking is located along Long St adjacent to the Pavilion Additional parking available at the Neil Avenue Garage (300 Neil Ave) and Leveque Tower Garage (40 N Front St) When Tuesday, March 26th from 5 - 7 PM Doors open at 5:00pm, but guests are welcome to come and go as needed. Guest speaker remarks will commence around 6pm. Why Women's sports in Columbus are BIG: from incredible national success for our collegiate teams to the addition of the first women's professional volleyball team in the city. As Chair of Neighborhoods, Recreation, and Parks, Councilmember Day-Achauer is excited to hold space for residents to discuss how far women's sports have come and what we can do to better support women's sports in Columbus.
