In Colorado Springs, an urgent contest is brewing as Republican Rep. Doug Lamborn, who has held this seat since 2015, is retiring at the end of this year.

The GOP primary is wide open, and regrettably full of election deniers, abortion extremists, and right-wing nutjobs backed by Koch brothers dark money groups.

But none rival Dave "Let's Go Brandon" Williams, the current Chair of the Colorado GOP, who recently won the dubious honor of Donald Trump's "Complete and Total Endorsement":

Dave Williams ran and lost against Lamborn in the 2022 primary, unsuccessfully attempting to change his name on the ballot to Dave "Let's Go Brandon" Williams back when MAGA thought that this brainless taunt would single-handedly win them the Midterm election. (lol, good one guys)

Williams is also a full-throated 2020 election denier who believes that Trump won the presidential election. And like every other Big Lie proponent, he cites zero evidence for this belief and can't explain how individual states conspired to change results, especially in states like Arizona and Georgia that had Republican Secretaries of State and Governors in 2020...

Williams is an extremist who is leading his party even deeper into obscurity in a state that voted for Clinton by 4.9% in 2016, then for Biden by 13.5% in 2020—and then in 2022, reelected Gov. Jared Polis by nearly 20 points.

But he is also in a strong position to become the GOP's nominee to replace Doug Lamborn in the 5th District. We need to be ready to stop him from winning this election should he win the GOP primary in June.

Fighting Boebert in the 4th District and working to oppose a MAGA tool like Dave Williams in the 5th District is going to take serious resources. Can you chip in $15 or whatever you can do right now to help stop another Trump worshipper from winning in Colorado?
