I wanted to make sure you had seen the appeal from John Howard below and add my voice to this request for assistance.
 
The Tasmanian Liberal team is deserving of our support and has a strong plan for our state's future. 
 
Premier Rockliff and his team are working hard to communicate their vision for Tasmania.
 
But their task is not easy. There is a threat that independents and minor parties could do a deal that results in a Labor-led minority government Coalition of Chaos.
 
Only the Liberal team can deliver majority government and the services that Tasmanians need and deserve. I know Jeremy and his team have done the work required to keep Tasmania blue, but they need your support.

This Saturday’s Tasmanian election is important for Tasmania and all Australians. 
 
The outcome is important for Liberals and for balance in Australian politics. 
 
Labor is currently in government federally and in every mainland state and territory. 
 
Tasmania stands out. It demonstrates how Liberal Governments deliver a stronger economy. 
 
Prior to the Liberal Party’s election, Labor and the Greens governed in coalition. 
 
The results were disastrous. Tasmania’s economy went into recession, with unemployment reaching around 8 percent. 
 
Tasmania’s economy was consistently ranked last in Commsec’s “State of the States” report.
 
The Liberal Government turned this around. Tasmania has recently been ranked the best performing economy. 
 
The Liberal Government has seen around 50,000 jobs created with around half the level of unemployment. 
 
The Liberal Government has delivered low debt levels compared to other states, while improving services and not introducing new taxes.
