Last Monday, we held a walkthrough of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School with the Secret Service Director and National Threat Assessment Center. This walkthrough served as an opportunity for Director Cheatle and the Center to have a firsthand look at the failures that lead to the horrifying events we saw unfold six years ago.

This walkthrough was yet another step to continue making progress to ensure no one ever has to experience a tragedy like this again. We honor the memory of the loved ones who were taken from us by empowering our nation’s schools and communities with the tools and resources they can use to prevent such heartbreak from ever happening again.
