It’s pretty simple: Donald Trump is a national security threat.
He’s facing criminal charges related to mishandling classified documents.
He leaked details of a classified intelligence operation with Russian
officials. He tweeted(!) a sensitive photo taken by a spy satellite.
This man should not be able to receive classified intelligence briefings,
even if the privilege has been afforded to past presidential nominees.
It’s just too risky.

briefings. Someone with no regard for state secrets should not be
entrusted with sensitive briefings.
Intelligence officials know that the former president should not get
classified briefings. As one told Politico, “I’d be afraid about giving
him stuff. I mean, who knows what kind of riff he would do.”
He’s about to go on trial for mishandling classified documents – and
trying to cover it up. And he’s got three more criminal trials on the
docket too.
Donald Trump is a risk to our national security. Giving him classified
briefings could put our country and our allies at risk.
