RSVP RENAMING INGRAHAM STREET BRIDGES I am proud to celebrate Art and Anne McDaniel and the lasting positive impression they left on San Diego and their home, Pacific Beach. With siblings Kitty and Michael McDaniel, we renamed the two Ingraham Street Bridges over Mission Bay to the Art and Anne McDaniel Bridges. Watch Unveiling JOB SHADOWING AT CITY HALL We hosted Francis Parker School student and D1 resident Ruby for a week of job shadowing in our council office. Job shadowing allows students interested in pursuing a career in government to experience what it is like to work in City Hall. The City’s “Employ & Empower” program provides paid opportunities for interns to gain valuable experience working on some of San Diego’s most important needs. It is designed to employ and empower the next generation of public servants! City Programs NEXT STEPS FOR DE ANZA NATURAL PLAN The Environment Committee, chaired by Pro Tem LaCava, unanimously passed the chair's recommendation to move the De Anza Natural plan to full City Council.
