Fight for $15

John,

No matter how progressive corporations pretend to be, they will always prioritize their bottom line over the well-being of their workers. That's why billionaires like Elon Musk and companies like Trader Joe's and Amazon are challenging the legality of worker protections and teaming up with extremist politicians to STOP worker momentum in its tracks. Call out their anti-worker agenda now >> [[link removed]]

Worker power is strong, and because it's strong, attacks on the laws and agencies that protect us are how the wealthy and powerful think they can win. We're already seeing worker protections under attack by corporations and politicians alike. Just this year:

* Amazon, Trader Joe’s, and SpaceX are on a mission to strip worker power by stripping the National Labor Relations Board of its power. Your right to organize a union with your coworkers is protected by this agency, but these greedy CEOs are trying to take it to the Supreme Court.
* Florida is making an effort to repeal basic heat protection laws (and after a summer of record heat too!), including requirements for water and shade.
* Kentucky is fighting to remove the requirement for employers to provide breaks at work.
* Missouri and West Virginia have introduced new bills that would bring back child labor, joining SIX other states that sought to weaken child labor protections in 2023.

When we let anti-worker billionaires, corporations, and politicians go unchecked, they'll go after every inch of progress we've made. We should be expanding workers' rights, not seeing them limited even more. Join us in calling out their anti-worker agenda >> [[link removed]]

In solidarity,

Brian Lewis
