Hi John,

Happy Women’s Heritage Month! This month (and every month), we are excited to celebrate the achievements of women throughout history and within our organization, whose invaluable contributions drive our mission forward.

We are at a pivotal moment in our AI journey and welcoming new team members who will be essential in driving this work forward. So far, we have made strides in building a strong foundation for our AI strategy in science, which will open the door to new discoveries about human health and disease.

As we continue to innovate and iterate, we are poised to redefine the boundaries of what AI can achieve in science, and we are excited to have you along for the journey!

Sincerely,

Susie Alvarez

Director of Recruiting

Theofanis Karaletsos is an expert at leveraging AI to solve big problems. As our new Head of Artificial Intelligence for Science, he brings a passion for building models that will allow us to understand complex systems and will lead our efforts to build virtual cell models to help scientists predict the behavior of healthy and diseased cells.

We’re also building the foundations of our science AI work by convening a new AI advisory group with leaders in AI and ML and starting an AI residency program. Join us in welcoming Theo and others as they help us enable AI to accelerate scientific discovery 👏
